Liza Sivakova explores themes of power, memory, and the instability of historical narratives through painting. Combining archival imagery, collage, and her own photographs, she creates ambiguous scenes where fiction and reality intertwine. Her works reflect on social tension, patriarchal structures, and the fragility of collective truth. Through dense atmospheres and emotional ambiguity, Sivakova invites viewers to reconsider familiar images and the systems of power they conceal.

Liza Sivakova beschäftigt sich in ihrer Malerei mit Macht, soziale Kippmomente, Erinnerung und den Brüchen historischer Narrative. Aus Archivbildern, Collagen und eigenen Fotografien entwickelt sie mehrdeutige Szenen, in denen sich Realität und Fiktion überlagern. Ihre Werke reflektieren gesellschaftliche Spannungen, patriarchale Strukturen und die Fragilität kollektiver Wahrheiten. Durch atmosphärische Dichte und emotionale Ambivalenz lädt Sivakova dazu ein, vertraute Bilder neu zu betrachten und Machtmechanismen sichtbar zu machen.
